About Me

I’m Gearoid Tully, a Life and Career Coach on a mission to help individuals and organisations create the lives and careers they’ve always dreamed of. With a practical, proven approach and tailored frameworks, I specialise in crafting success strategies and action plans that deliver real, meaningful results.

My journey into coaching and talent management has been shaped by resilience, growth, and a willingness to embrace opportunity.

Growing up, I discovered a strong sense of independence early on. Whether it was working part-time on the family farm or in my father’s construction company, I learned the value of hard work and connecting with like-minded people. School wasn’t where I thrived - dyslexia made reading and spelling a challenge - but hands-on work and real-world experiences built my confidence and skills.

When the time came to choose between college and a trade, the decision was shaped by the economic downturn of 2008. Opportunities were scarce, but I saw college as a stepping stone. Enrolling in a Level 6 Business course, I told myself, “It’s just two years - let’s see where it leads.” That mindset kept me moving forward.

Two years turned into a three year and a Level 7 degree in Business and Management, then a fourth year to a Level 8 Honours degree. Along the way, I was fortunate to be part of an incredible group of friends. We shared a common goal: to support each other and succeed together.

After graduation, I embarked on a career that took me across the globe. I started in San Francisco as an Assistant Project Manager with a property development company. From there, I moved to Saudi Arabia, where I worked with a leading engineering firm in HR and talent management.

These international experiences were transformative. I learned how respect and strong relationships form the foundation of success, no matter where you are or who you’re working with.

Back in Ireland, I pivoted to recruitment, joining one of the country’s top agencies. I thrived in helping individuals and businesses find their perfect match. Later, I moved on to work with LinkedIn, the global tech giant, and a prestigious project management consultancy, honing my skills in internal recruitment, hiring strategies, and training programs. These roles deepened my understanding of industries and broadened my global perspective.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed the complexities of talent management first-hand. From sourcing top talent in competitive markets to ensuring smooth onboarding in hybrid environments, the challenges span the entire employee lifecycle.

Despite a successful career, I knew something was missing. Coaching had always been in the back of my mind, and a few years ago, I decided to explore it. Everything clicked.

I studied at the Irish Life Coaching Institute, earning a diploma in Personal, Business, and Executive Coaching, and later pursued advanced studies in Career and Team Coaching. With over a decade of experience spanning across construction, engineering, tech, and retail, I saw a chance to merge my expertise and passion.

Recognising the gaps and challenges in talent management, I launched my own Coaching and Talent Management Consultancy to address them head-on. My mission is clear: to help individuals unlock their potential and craft fulfilling lives and careers, while empowering organisations to build vibrant workplace cultures, retain top talent, and achieve employee success. With deep industry expertise and a proven approach, I offer practical solutions to bridge these gaps, creating alignment between personal growth and business objectives.
